Gadang clinches RM188.8mil design and build job from JKR
KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 29): Gadang Holdings Bhd has secured a RM188.8 million contract from the Public Works Department (JKR) to design and build the National Forensic Medicine Institute (Institut Perubatan Forensik Negara) at Hospital Kuala Lumpur.
In a bourse filing on Thursday, Gadang said its wholly owned Gadang Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd has received and accepted a letter of acceptance from JKR for the contract.
The contract shall commence upon site possession on Oct 12 this year and be completed by Oct 6, 2026.
“The contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings of Gadang and its group of companies for the duration of the contract,” it said.
Gadang wins RM680mil subcontract works in RTS Link project
KUALA LUMPUR (July 19): Gadang Holdings Bhd is undertaking subcontract works for a total sum of RM680 million in the Rapid Transit System Link (RTS Link) project connecting Bukit Chagar, Johor Bahru to Woodlands, Singapore.
The construction engineering group said its wholly-owned subsidiary Gadang Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd had on Tuesday (July 19) accepted two letter of awards from Adil Permata Sdn Bhd, the main contractor of the RTS Link project.
The first is worth RM370 million and the second is valued at RM310 million, it said in a bourse filing, adding that they are expected to be completed by June 30, 2024.
