CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

M&E SUPERVISOR

Job Responsibilities & Duties:

    • Supervise and monitoring the site works.
    • Able to read and interpret M&E drawings.
    • Assist to liaise and coordinate with consultants and sub-contractors on arrangements in accordance with work program.
    • Assist to carry out quality control checks, testing and commissioning of defects.
    • Assist in daily progress monitoring, project supervision, documentation and reporting.

Requirements:

    • Possess a Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or its equivalent.
    • At least 1-2 years relevant working experience in M&E construction.
    • Able to work under pressure and long hours.
CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

Job Responsibilities & Duties:

    • Plan, manage and complete specific projects within given time and cost target with approved quality.
    • Monitoring the project completion timely, site progress and as well as quality as per the specification requirements is deemed necessary.
    • Coordinate works among inter-department, consultants, clients, authorities, subcontractors’ and suppliers in project implementation.
    • Monitoring, preparation of budget, taking corrective action and regular updates on status project.
    • Ensure the construction workers are in accordance with the approved working drawings, monitor progress of projects and response to the Project Director as necessary.

Requirements:

    • Possess Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or its equivalent.
    • Minimum 8 to 10 years working experience in especially in an infrastructure construction projects.
    • Established exposures and proven track records in managerial capacity.
SITE SUPERVISOR

Job Responsibilities & Duties:

    • Supervision of site works with ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
    • Liaise with all sub-contractors on work arrangements in accordance with construction works programs.
    • Daily progress monitoring and make sure daily work activities is recorded.
    • Able to manage workers, subcontractors and public relation with clients and supervising consultants.

Requirements:

    • Minimum Certificate or Diploma in Civil Engineering or its equivalent.
    • At least 2 years working experience in supervising construction projects.
    • Candidate with infrastructure/mega-structure project are added as advantages.
    • Able to work under pressure and long hours (if require).
PLANNING MANAGER

Job Responsibilities & Duties:

    • Lead, manage and develop projects schedule using Primavera/Microsoft Project based on CPM (Critical Path Method) or CCM (Critical Chain Method).
    • Assist the Project Director in the implementation of the projects including analysis of EOT application.
    • Using Primavera to develop companywide system to track and manage resources: manpower and project cost.
    • Compute SPI and CPI for the projects and develop projects’ S-Curve.
    • Consolidate, report and advise projects’ bottle neck, with high possibility of delay.
    • Develop programme for tendering and resources chart.

Requirements:

    • Possess Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent.
    • At least 10 years working experience with 5 years project planning specialising in civil construction projects.
    • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information.
    • Well-versed in Primavera added advantage in application.
PLANNING ENGINEER

Job Responsibilities & Duties:

    • Responsible in project planning and optimizing of the structural and infrastructural works.
    • Study construction drawings and specification to ensure suitability and adequacy of details.
    • Develop site utilization programs and reports.

Requirements:

    • At least a Professional Certificate/Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent.
    • Minimum 2-5 years planning experience in the related field.
    • Familiar with Primavera planning software.
PROJECT MANAGER (HOSPITAL)

Job Responsibilities & Duties:

    • To plan, organize, coordinate and manage all activities at site according to project timeline and requirement.
    • Developing deliverable project schedules as a roadmap for the construction team.
    • In charge of reviewing the contractual conditions of performance, determining the precision of the work, handling requirements and deliverables, etc.
    • Manage multi-disciplinary works within a project including handling project planning, safety and quality system implementation.
    • Develop and lead a cross-functional project team for the implementation and execution of works according to planned schedule.
    • Lead the project team in preparation and submission the project progress report including physical progress and financial progress, SHE reports, issues affecting report, contractors’ progress report and other related report to the Management.
    • Develop contacts and coordinate effectively with the Management team, clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and other relevant government authorities.
    • To monitor and safe guard project cost to ensure budget and cost control.
    • To ensure all the project execution are in compliance with local authority’s requirement.
    • Responsible to manage team by hiring the right people to handle the task, motivating and reviewing the employees, directing and coordinating all employees in the project.
    • Responding immediately to issues arising and initiate necessary remedial action for dispute arise.
    • Co-Chair regular project meeting to oversee, mitigate, track project progress and risks.
    • Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as instructed by the Management.

Requirements:

    • Possess Degree in Civil Engineering/Construction Management or its equivalent.
    • Project Management certification preferred.
    • At least 15 years working experience in construction and civil engineering field with at least 5 years in Managerial role.
    • Ideally managing project from inception until completion.
SAFETY & HEALTH OFFICER (SHO)

Job Responsibilities & Duties:

    • Report and advice on the practical implementation of Occupational Safety and Health at workplace especially on legal and other OSH requirements.
    • Advice and ensure the implementation of safe work system.
    • Submit monthly report on Occupational, Safety and Health at workplace.
    • Assist in the investigation on accident, incident and near-miss and submit report to Management.
    • Act as secretary during HSE committee meeting.
    • Monitor day-to day work on Safety and Health matters.
    • Effective dissemination of Safety and Health.
    • Monitor and provide an advice on ensuring safe work system is well implemented.
    • Prepare and submit report on status of Safety and Health implementation and recommendation.
    • Prepare monthly HSE statistics.
    • Prepare submission of document and report to relevant parties.
    • Coordinate or organise safety campaign/quiz/slogan/poster for competitions and exhibitions.
    • Conduct daily HSE inspection and provide HSE report.
    • Provision of an adequate assistance to respective department.
    • Any other duties as assigned by the Superior and/or the Management.

Requirements:

    • Possess Diploma in Safety and Health Management/Science or its equivalent.
    • Certified Green Book Holder – JKKP Registration.
    • Minimum 5 years of working experience especially on construction site safety and health.
    • Knowledge in OHSAS 18001:2007 Safety and Health Management Systems and General Environmental Management.
    • Good communication skills.
SAFETY & HEALTH MANAGER

Job Responsibilities & Duties:

    • Liaise on behalf of the Company with appointed client OSH Personnel, local government authorities and agencies such as DOSH, NIOSH, JBE&G, CIDB, DOE, BOMBA, LPTA and etc.
    • Plan and organize the OSH audit and review via the safety and health implementation plan and program, and act as a focal point for all external audit by Clients or local authorities with respect to the hazard’s identification and control in the work site.
    • Review the effectiveness of the Company’s safety performance and report to Project Manager/Project Director.
    • Develop and review standards (e.g. Safety and Health Manual) and procedures (e.g. Site Safety Procedures) with Project Manager when required in order to improve OSH related matters.
    • Monitor and ensure the overall implementation of the OSH system, procedure and practice are being carried out in a proper manner.
    • Monitor Site Safety Representative and Site Supervisor in daily safety checklist and conducting the accident investigation and recommend remedial action with the consent of Project Manager.
    • Receive and collate accident/incident from all project and produce statistical analysis for Project Manager and monthly submission to client.
    • Provide training on OSH related subjects to all middle management staff and site employees.
    • Preparation and documentation of monthly OSH Report.
    • Carry out any other instructions made by the Employer/Client on any matter pertaining the OSH at Worksite.
    • To ensure compliance with Safety, Health and Environment (S.H.E) policies and procedures.
    • Any other duties as assigned by the Superior and/or the Management.

Requirements:

    • Possess Bachelor’s Degree in Safety and Health Management/Science (Hons) or its equivalent.
    • Competent Green Book – JKKP Registration.
    • Minimum 10 years of working experience in HSE for construction industry, especially in construction site safety and health plan and implementation.
    • Established exposures and proven track records in managerial capacity.
    • Knowledge in OHSAS 18001:2007 Safety and Health Management Systems and General Environmental Management.
