Gadang Holdings Berhad (“Gadang”) was listed on the Second Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad on 2 September 1994 and subsequently transferred to the Main Board of "Bursa Securities" on 24 December 2007. It was incorporated on 6 October 1993 as a public listed company and changed its name from Lai Sing Holdings Berhad to the present form on 7 November 1997.

The principal activity of Gadang is investment holding while its subsidiary companies' core activities are civil engineering and building construction, property development, Water Concession, manufacturing & trading of decorative & protective paints, mechanical & electrical engineering services.
